Brandon Dubinsky

Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky will not face further punishment from the NHL for Sunday's open-ice hit on Anaheim's Saku Koivu.
"NHL player safety has reached out to us and said that there will be no hearing for Brandon," Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen told The Dispatch this morning.
Dubinsky was given a five-minute major for interference and a game misconduct for his hit on Koivu in the final minute of the second period.
No kidding since it was a bad call to begin with.

Blue Jackets matches in partnership with the WBNS 97.1 FM

National Hockey League (NHL) side the Columbus Blue Jackets have signed a multi-year partnership agreement with sports broadcast company Skyview Networks.
Skyview becomes the official radio network provider to the Ohio-based franchise and will provide full broadcast production of the Blue Jackets matches in partnership with the WBNS 97.1 FM radio station. They will also distribute and stream a weekly coaches show and produce the play-by-play broadcast.
The Blue Jackets will aim to take advantage of Skyview’s ‘AdView Inventory Management’ system which will enable them to schedule and track every advert that is aired during their play-by-play broadcasts.
“We’re very excited to be entering into this partnership with Skyview Networks and we look forward to a long, successful relationship with one of the country’s most dynamic sports broadcasting companies,” said Russ Mollohan, Blue Jackets’ director of broadcasting.
